I went to a one room school in the 50’s. We were participants in the ‘hot lunch program’.
The teacher liked split pea soup. She would serve it a couple of times a month. I was a kid & I didn’t like any kind of lentil soups.
It became a test of wills, with me sitting at my desk with a bowl of cold soup in front of me for a number of afternoons. Finally my mother came & told the teacher that I would sit there for a month before I would eat lentil soups.
I still don’t eat such-—at age 75.
It is another example of Obama & his ‘shove it down our throat’ attitude toward everything he touches.
This man is pure evil-—and I am NOT Catholic.
I would refuse to meet with him if I were Pope & I knew what he was planning.
With this pope it will be a total freak show.

I’m no supporter of the pope but this is extremely boorish, crass, rude and classless. If the pope has any self respect or love for his church he will decline obama’s invitation and refuse to be a part of this assault on Christianity.

I wonder how long until we go full-on fall of the Roman Empire. I expect a Pope or foreign leader to visit the White House one day, and talk with the president in the Oval Office while a gay orgy takes place in the background. We’re talking here about a “Pope” who covers the symbol of his faith and bows to assuage the sensibility of someone being purposely rude.
(I can fully understand being deferential to rude people. Sometimes it’s the best way to shut them up. But I cannot understand covering the cross. That’s Obamaesque.)
