If you are a conservative Cruz is your choice. If not, you just might support lifelong liberal Donald Trump.
You did not answer my question. If Cruz is so much a conservative (and I am not contradicting that assertion) then where is his support? His polling numbers are abysmal b/c he is a BORING policy wonk. Americans are fed up with that sort of persona. Perhaps many see him as just another “insider” despite his conservative credentials. If nothing else, this election is shaping up to be a revolt against the insiders. Of, course, the only poll that matters is the one held on election day.
You are wrong about Trump.
Check the URL in my tagline. Trump is a right-wing Conservative.
I also like Cruz. He is my top pick, but not pulling the numbers and is therefore not electable.
Trump is my second choice and is electable and is pulling the numbers.
Come election day if Trump is the nominee, are you going to stay home or write-in Cruz?
If so, you and others like you will only have yourselves to blame if Hillary or Sanders or even Biden are elected.
