“Yes, Ive seen the hindu priests that use it like nuts and sit around all day and do jack. Ive seen people in the USA do pot and do jack. Its a sham and comfort to the idiotic.”
Thanks for repeating a well used anti-pot fallacy out there for folks to read.
If you don’t like it don’t use it.
People used to respect themselves more, because in turn they respected God more, and would be less likely to chronically overdo a medication because they could see the benefit of life not utterly swamped with whatever substance is involved in the problem.
In the early 20th century, the “smart doctors” thought alcoholism was unconquerable, and then AA appeared on the scene (and in its original form was orthodox Christian in its theology — the vague “higher power” stuff came into vogue later).
Today we have (mostly) two large camps: one that adores drugs and one that demonizes them. They have never realized that they are agreeing on imputing a supernatural dimension to the problem. And the devil doesn’t want them to realize that because then they might both understand that he is the real malevolent force here, and unite with God against him, and thereby drive the abuse out of drug abuse.
What are you, an American conservative or something?!
