We've had policy wonks time after time, candidates who had great detailed plans that would create an American utopia. Every single time those plans go out the window as soon as they are sworn in.
Better to have knowledgeable competent people surrounding a real leader.
Trump has flip-flopped on nearly every issue. So you shouldn't expect any different from him.

Right. Because they were lying and KNEW they’d throw those “plans” out as soon as they got in and do what their handlers told them to do.
Plans don’t mean squat. Integrity, trust, honesty, toughness, self-assurance, leadership, independence, connecting with people, common sense, ability to negotiate HARD, etc., etc., etc.
And let’s not forget: everyone on that stage except Donald Trump is going to be beholden to a bunch of REALLY wealthy, powerful people and groups who finance their campaigns for them to the tune of thousands of millions of dollars of campaign “contributions”.
