Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush huddled in secret with a handful of reporters as he’s slipping in the polls ahead of the next debate here on Wednesday evening, Breitbart News has learned.
Bush met in private for an off-the-record meeting on Tuesday with RealClearPolitics’ Rebecca Berg, the Washington Examiner’s Byron York, Fox News’ John Roberts and CNN’s S.E. Cupp.
A Republican political insider told Breitbart News:
Two reporters complained to me today that their editors and producers forced them to attend an off the record pre-debate meeting with Jeb Bush, who is in single digits in all national and state polls. I was also told that the meeting was so low energy and boring that one reporter described it as a ‘snooze siesta.’ Jeb wavered for five days on whether to hold the gathering but then decided that it would be a mistake not to try and spin tomorrow’s loss which will be both in form and substance. The good news is that Jeb spoke to an audience which doubled his last campaign event.
Bush spokesman Tim Miller didn’t immediately return a request for comment, nor did the other attendees or representatives for them.

I hope he refrains from his over using descriptive terms which show no respect. I know that many don’t deserve respect but there is an inner honor code that shows control and reserve while being strong and resolute. Kind of like a Marine.
He should focus on the issues and not the issuer’s looks or demeanor. I hear and see Reagan, “There you go again.” Simple and effective. He needs to come up with a Trump phrase that does the same thing.
Absolutely no one, I repeat, no one, wants Jeb Bush for anything.

CNN has an opportunity to steal a portion of the FOXNews Audience. CNN could ask questions citizens are interested in rather than pick and choose from a selection of questions handed them by democrat/republican political consultants...

I am a Cruz supporter but this is getting ridiculous.
Big time, and the media (including the GOPe run Fox team) has been planning for this. This is their shot to clear Trump out. They HAVE to have Jeb be the nominee in order to insure Hillary's victory... which is the goal.
He got softball after softball from the sainted Megan Kelly and still screwed them up. My wife was watching his answers and turned to me and said I thought W was supposed to be the stupid one of the Bush gang, this guys a dufus.
And there are those here who will rejoice if he falters tonight, knowing full well what the consequences will inevitably be.
