Racist Black Lives Matter leader King Noble made the mistake of assuming that every black man is onboard with the movement. As reported at Newsbusters, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman discovered that Noble posted the picture above of Sherman and a teammate in a post suggesting that the athlete approved of murdering whites. He expressed his disapproval in no uncertain terms on Noble's own website.
LANGUAGE WARNING:
I did not believe this when I heard about it. I watched your videos. I started a life in the ghetto..I banged like a fool till I woke up. I was not suppressed by any man or woman, white or black.
I worked myself up from Compton High School to a scholarship at Stanford University and I did it myself. I take pride in what I have accomplished both as a black man, and an athlete. I could have stayed in LA and banged and used drugs and thought that it was all the white mans fault. But that would be a lie. We are who we want to be, that is what is great about America. We are all born with the same chances in life..white or black YOU choose to be a woman-abusing racist loudmouth. I would love to debate you on national TV. And if you condone senseless black shootings of whites and police officers, you better make that a debate on Springer, so I can bitchslap your ignorant ass!
You are what is keeping and making the black race look bad. Wake up fool. Do not glorify this half a man, he has worked for nothing. He chose to keep himself where he is, not the white people. It is time to take responsibility for your own actions, and not act like a stinking fool. Kids and young black men and women look at this site, and believe that they are abused. That is a bold-faced lie. It is out of the mouths of cheap thugs like you that are hurting our young and taking away the chances they have to make themselves a productive part of society. Brothers and sisters: the only slavery in America now is the one you put yourself into. Rise up like Doctor King as taught us, and be a real human being. We are all in this togehter, white and black. Peace to all, and I hope this stupid fake hate stops real soon. We are all brothers and sisters. Do not be fooled by the tyranny of evil men like this. Lift yourself up, educate yourselves, and work hard for a good life. No one owes you anything. Stand proud as a person of color, and do something meaningful with your life. I did and I am the best at what I do! Peace out, R Sherman.
I don't dislike Sherman one bit. He's a great player and he was the first Seahawk to shake Brady's hand to congratulate him for winning his 4th Superbowl.
Sherman has bravado, he made bring a brashness to the field, however, we are all guilty of moments where we should of acted better. Look at Cosby, he’s been preaching that black people should stop acting like the white people are their only problem, yet now he’s been discredited as a rapist, does that mean he’s incorrect about how black people should view themselves? Sherman hasn’t been accused of anything like Cosby but I guarantee his message will get lost because of his personality and that’s very very sad.
Wow, he went bout 50 points up on my respect scale there..
D@mn!!!
Certainly possible, but perhaps it's a "Nixon in China" thing. Only a rabid anti-Communist could get away with negotiating with the Chinese, and perhaps only an outspoken black man with dreadlocks can make an impression on those who wouldn't listen to Peyton Manning.
Oh my. Richard Sherman, you rock!
“The man deserves a medal. Seriously.”
Yes sir. Especially the part about “you better make that a debate on Springer, so I can bitchslap your ignorant ass!”
He's facing the problem head on.
I agree with you, the message has to come from within, no white person is going to be able to deliver it. But that community seems so invested in blaming everyone else but themselves that whenever a black man comes out and says anything against the community they are instantly called an “Uncle Tom”. I have hope for his message but the reality is that i wouldn’t be shocked to see people attack Sherman too.
Of course some, many, most will. But even if Sherman amounts only to “a voice calling in the wilderness,” it’s still more than a start, because (a) his is not a lone voice, and (b) he has gained standing to speak it. It’s the old story of a man walking on the beach who encounters a young boy tossing stranded starfish back into the surf. “You can’t possibly save all these—there are thousands!” “Maybe not, but I can save this one, and this one, and this one...”
I really did not like Richard Sherman, because all I ever saw of him was his trash-talking antics.
I am a New England fan, so the image of him taunting Brady from a few years back was all I knew of him. I am not into trash talking, having been a hockey goalie for many years and been exposed to it. I don’t do it to others, and don’t like it when people do it to others.
When I saw his face at the end of the Super Bowl...I just couldn’t dislike him more than I felt pity for him. And seeing him go up to Brady to shake his hand, I realized that, yeah. Okay. There is more to the guy than a fan in an opposing city might be exposed to.
I had thought, after listening to some of the things he said about race in the past, that he bought into the whole race hustler type of mentality. Granted, I only got bits and pieces of what the sports media wanted me to see, so I had to take that into account.
If he did write this, I can respect this man both on and off the field.
And you are right. Funny how we didn’t hear about it on ESPN. How I detest them. (Except for Mike Reiss, who is stellar in his beat coverage of my chosen team and seems to avoid all the BS ESPN is all on board with...)
Wow...what a picture...
No wonder he is pissed...
Sherman should sue him for libel...
“but it took some courage to take a stand like this. “
No courage, just maturity. He’s right: He worked hard and succeeded and is the best at what he does. Skin color had nothing to do with how hard it was or how easy is was. It took what it did and he did it.
It takes cowardice, laziness, and stupidity to cave to the liberal propaganda that black is inferior and that blacks can only get ahead if a white man gives it to them.
What a great message for black youths to hear!
And he wrote, “That is a bold-faced lie” instead of “bald-faced”. Finally... someone gets it right.
“because all I ever saw of him was his trash-talking antics.”
That’s called “sports”. Every sport has it. play one sometime. Hell, trash talk is what motivates, it uplifts, it gets sportsmen fired up. Without it you might as well go back to playing checkers.
Sorry. Don’t buy into it. Played hockey for 15 years, football, baseball, so I’ve “played one sometime”.
Don’t like it trash talk, period. Doesn’t mean when things get heated people have to shut their mouths. But if you make that an integral part of your game, I think it diminishes you.
If you like it, then that’s your thing. I think it is demeaning and unsportsmanlike.
If you think talking smack is “demeaning and unsportsmanlike” then you’ve never played sports. Get real.
How old are you, for God’s sake? You sound like a 13 year old.
The fact that you are into trash talk says a lot about you.
Even being a rabid 49ers fan, I have to say - Bravo, Richard Sherman. Well said.
“The fact that you are into trash talk says a lot about you.”
Actually, you sound like a 13 year old, you know, the sissies that don’t keep score in games because it hurts their poor widdle feelings.
