In other words, Trump has a very mobile face - that is what makes for great communication as well as humor. To be frank, when he came out at one rally, actually hugged a somewhat flaccid American flag, and then mugged to the audience, I completely lost it! He’s funny as hell in that New York/Jewish way only a New York Presbyterian can be.
Trump’s look is “churchillian”. Not classic “good looks”. But rugged; purposeful.
Mind you, I’m not comparing Trump’s stature with Churchill’s. For one thing, Trump is not, and never will be, the orator that Churchill was. Also, Churchill’s history is written and behind him, while Trump’s is still in progress.
But there ARE similarities between the two men.
Trump reminds me a bit of Bill Shatner. They both mug for the camera and are hilarious without trying to be.
In reading this article, I notice the author cited the flag-hugging moment. Great minds and all that...
He was a nice-looking guy when he was young. But he’s 69 and showing his age - he’s got that all-American pot belly which, again, brings him closer to his middle-class fans. No matter how expensive his suit, he still looks like he’s about to paint the garage.
Perry and Romney are very handsome (but old) men.
Rubio just isn’t. Still baby-faced and balding is a bad combination and gives him actually zero time as “handsome”.

He sat in the pews with Norman Vincent Peale.
Huge lead in the polls, adoring throngs. Who wouldn't enjoy it?

I like that he’s not anal-retentive fussy about his appearance. So RARE in this political culture.
Rubio’s looks have faded much faster than Trump’s have...and look at their age difference!
Trump was a looker, in his day. Now, he just has a more stately look.
I especially like how he looks in his MAGA cap....reminds me of my dad.
Some of these bald guys like Walker should consider shaving it all. That look is very popular in the culture. It would give Walker a jolt of media attentionbetter than Perry’s glasses.
He is no handsome square-jawed Marco Rubio, or Rick Perry, or Mitt Romney

The homeliest Prez we ever had? In my opinion, Abe Lincoln.
“He’s funny as hell in that New York/Jewish way only a New York Presbyterian can be.”
Lol, I noticed some old school Jewish flavor to his delivery too. At the first debate when he said “only one...Rosie O’Donnell”, the crowd went nuts and he mimed “excuse me” and held up a finger. Worth watching again.
Cuz you're mindless droids that don't deserve the privilege of voting.
My grandmother used to refer to the occasional man as ‘so ugly he’s handsome.’
I think Abe Lincoln fell in that category.

Wow... powerful argument /s
