The country responded generously as Angela Merkel threw open the borders, but as 1,000 people a day arrive in the capital alone some doubts are being voiced.
The Rudolf Harbig hall in west Berlin is normally used for athletics. The complex has a track, an indoor sandpit for long jump and a gallery for spectators. Nearby is the monumental Olympic stadium, the scene of the 2006 World Cup final and other major sporting events.
On Friday, however, the hall was being transformed into emergency accommodation for refugees, now arriving in the German capital at the astonishing rate of 1,000 a day. Soldiers from the German army were unloading mattresses. New camp beds had arrived. Some 15 volunteers were busy stuffing colourful covers on duvets.
Were sacrificing our gold medal to help people in need, said Thomas Glückselig, lugging a mound of bedding. Great Britain will get the gold instead of us, he joked. Glückselig, a 60-year-old Berlin pensioner, said Germany had no choice but to shelter all of those fleeing war. But could the country manage? If we can save banks, we can save people. We want to do it and we can do it, he replied. What about other EU countries, such as Britain and the east Europeans, whose leaders appeared less keen on refugees than Angela Merkel? If England wants to be in Europe, you have to do more. You cant shut your tunnel, he said....

Germany just closed them today.
Ever notice that Nancy Reagan’s “Just Say No” campaign against drug usage was very effective at reducing illegal drug usage? It was succinct, direct, and to the point. Why can’t the same be done for these foreign invaders. Just say no, we’re not going to accept any of these scumbags and we’re going to enforce our borders and deny benefits, and there wouldn’t be an invasion.
When is Ban Ki-Moon’s Korea going to show some love and open their doors to these “refugees”?
Negative hours apparently.
Bangladesh? Zimbabwe? Libya? Russia? China (they’d have a hard time finding them in there)?
That is not appropriate. That little boy is dead.
Germany has replaced Japan as the nation with the lowest birth rate.
2.1 births per woman is considered to be the replacement rate, as many people being born as are dying. Germany is currently at 1.38 births per woman. They are making up the difference with immigration.
Germany’s birth rate is rising, due to immigrants havng more children.
Berlin for years has been the freakshow of Germany, every freak from around the world already goes to live there, just like they did in the 1920s during the Weimar Republic.
Any and every perversion is tolerated.
Berlin in the 1920s was know as “Red Berlin”, several years ago it returned to Red Berlin, Commie Central.
Berlin has never respresented the REAL Germany.
So, who really killed him and how much Hollywood help did they use to stage the pics?
And then there is Saudi Arabia
offering to build 200 mosques
in Germany. They want to help
Germans and refugees turn the
country into an Islamic state.
How nice. How about they arm the
refugees and turn their asses around?
The UN in New York is a big building, I mean they surely could house 100,000 of the poor “refugees” in it.
What about the Vatican, the Heretic “Pope” Francis says they’re taking TWO families, heck the Vatican could house another 100,000 of the poor “refugees”
He’s dead because his psychopath of a father wanted a new set of teeth, FREE from Germany.
The child would be still here, were it not for the criminal selfishness of his father.
They had a flat in Turkey and were safe, oh but Turkey doesn’t do the free dental care.
The 200 mosques offer has REALLY offended the German people.
They are one of the last bastions of Christianity, actually.
Why doesn’t Saudi Arabia take in refugees??
Then again, Saudi is a closed society, isn’t it?
Then again, these refugees are Muslim for whom Saudi Arabia wants to build 200 mosques.
What did Mohamed say about charity for your fellow man and all that?? These are fellow Muslims.
