From the looks of things going on in the middle east with Russian troops in Syria with Chinese ships off the coast in the Meditraian and the possible attack on Iran by Israel there will be some sort of war there in the middle east very soon.
I would say Israel will recapture the Temple Mount during some major war there in the middle not worried of what the world says and regardless of the the Muslims or Arabs do.
Then perhaps there will be some kind of peace accord to stop the fighting just long enough for them to build the 3rd temple.
Don’t know how many years to build the temple but Israel will get control of the temple mount back.
The bible is clear that Israel will be surrounded by the world’s nations.
It is interesting that the US is not directly mention in bible prophocy, perhaps in a greatly deminished role.

In the book of Numbers when Israel was suppose to enter the promise land by God’s command came across the Nephelum, The Giants.
Jesus called the religious leaders the Pharisee, Scribes, a brood of vipers, a * evil * generation ( evil corrupted genetics, DNA ).
I agree. Biblical scholars differ on which war. Some say the Psalm 83 War may occur prior to the War of God and Magog (Ezekiel 38 and 39).
I tend to go with that theory.
If the Psalm 83 War occurs, then all of Israel's immediate neighbors are defeated and lose territory. The world is so outraged that a massive coalition (led by Russia and Iran) invade Israel in the War of Gog and Magog, and God Himself defeats them.
I just saw a commercial for that show "Ancient Aliens."
If humanity was given a "re-visit" from these demonic creature today (especially if the world was facing some crisis), the UN and our horrific leadership and sheep would follow them in an instant.
I think I now see how clearly mankind will be led into slavery and hell on earth.
