Ha! I read where she allowed him to continue to use it because her parents listened to Rush.
She had no issue with Rush using her song until stupid liberals brought it up. Her Mother was a fan of Rush and advised her daughter to let him use it. I think Rush donated to PETA or something in exchange for the rights to the song.
