I don't think you have to worry. That is the way to go at his age, as long as he keeps his carbs low.

I am helping now to write a Program Project Grant for my Wife (MD). It involves a ketogenic diet for treatment of neurodegenerative disease. Huge literature search and a very in depth review of the TCA cycle. Ketogenic is both neuroprotective as well as vascular protective.

Some day I can go into details after the non-disclosure period and I do plan on presenting a long post here about it (with many links to Medline).

I think Mr. Trump will be ok.
