The people of any western state that loses their property/livelihood in these completely preventable fires need to collectively bring RICO charges against the EPA/BLM and the respective states for putting the importance of weeds and meadow mice ahead of humans. All these are the result of the asinine ‘laws’ that prevent clearing of land and sensible forestry practices.

These ‘laws’ are no different than the sanctuary city crap when you get down to it. Pure politics to benefit Democrat constituencies...in this case eco nazis...it’s a vote buying scheme.

Watching reports now, the fire hydrants have now run out of water.

Democrats have constructed an inferno with no off switch.

While it is true that the politicians are depleting resource lands of producers (conservatives) and substituting them with welfare cases, retirees, and bureaucrat's the money for this operation comes from tax-exempt "charitable" foundations of major stockholders in industries seeking higher prices for competing sources. It is effectively corporate corruption.

I agree with your sentiment, but think "all" is a bridge too far.

I'm thinking no appreciable rain for 4 years contributed, at least.

In Oregon any state or federal land that burns must stay that way. No harvesting of burned trees, no clean up of burned under brush and even after 10 years, no spraying for weeds suppression to give the little ones that finally emerge from a cone a chance. The management of our state and federal forest lands is causing these fires, no harvesting or replanting ever!!
