“What do I think Sarah would do?”
My question was “what do you think Sarah would say?” Would she say that God had anything to do with this fire? I think not. It offends me greatly to see anyone conflate a natural disaster with “the will of God!” That’s just nuts in my opinion.
In answer to your question, I don’t know. Everyone was crying and praying and calling on God and blaming God, I just tried to add a little comic relief. For me, it would depend on the symbolism of an incident. Example: If a huge city burned down and a tiny little church was left standing, I might think God had something to do with it.
