Not being in the EU and being suitably armed.

I wasn't aware that Switzerland isn't in the EU. Smart move. There are many calls for the Brits to exit, but nothing gets done about it. EU is the cause of this "open borders" travesty.

Notice also that Switzerland has thrived for centuries without buying into the American manic sense that we have to continuously grow our population (to support the SS Ponzi scheme).

Prosperity and culture are both more important than mindless “growth”.

what is this 200 Mosque crap. Europe should not accept unless Saudi Arabia accepts the building of 200 churches. But the West is too stupid to demand this.

Exactly. Crude though he may be, this is one approach that Trump is trumpeting: getting something back from these other nations when we go in to straighten out their civil wars. He is so right about that. We cannot afford to impoverish ourselves when their elites are rich as Croesus.

And why is turkey in NATO?

It's been in NATO since 1949; but there was a big fight over whether it could join the EU more recently, and it has been denied there. Not that is it doing any good, since they are like Mexico is to the U.S., funnelling all the traffic into the Continent.

Unless you start shooting, everything else is a half-measure at best.

I feel your frustration, it’s my continent being invaded.

I do sympathize deeply with your situation. I read the European papers daily, and am so glad I toured over there extensively when I still could without fear of terrible violence.

By the way, welcome, newbie! Did you know you can edit your home page and show the flag of your country, if you wish? Just click on your name on one of your posts, and it will bring up your home page. At the bottom is the Edit button, and clicking on it will take you to the page that lets you set your location, if you choose, and also display text or photos in html on the body of the page — again, if you choose to.

Here is the latest "HTML Sandbox" thread, where you can play around with customizing your posts: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3242857/posts

Those europeans who were so smug about being disarmed because they didn’t live in an uncivilized country and whose governments were democracies that would never do anything to harm them must be feeling a bit stupid right about now.

Not if you read the comments section of the DailyMail after any article about a shooting in the U.S. Still smug.

On the other hand, I have long suspected that the DailyMail has been totally invaded by click-farm propagandists from a host of various agendas, manipulating both the news and the comments.

They are young men and should be staying there to fix it ... not running away leaving women and children to suffer in their stead. For that one reason alone they should be turned around and sent back or sent around the back of the building to see the Corporal.

I expect Obama will have your continent invaded next, flying hundreds of thousands of “refugees” in, I mean that’s his easiest way, they can’t invade on boats across the Atlantic, so he’ll fly them to you. God help us all.

He and his henchmen have been working this out legally for a long time. The census bureau has been asking extensive questions of residents to find out where resettlement of muslims can do the most damage to residential strongholds of Christians, whites, Republicans or conservatives. He has passed regulatons giving government agencies the power to subsidize low-income residents in moderate-income or even high-income areas, regardless of local laws or dues paid in gated communities trying to maintain their property values. And here is a recent "innovation" by one of our few muslim Federal lawmakers:

Rep. Ellison Introduces Strengthening Refugee Resettlement Act of 2015

Notice how he has gathered up the endorsement of several of the left-leaning church denominations that were once mainstream Christian institutions, but are now extensions of the Democrat and Federal immigration services, who are pumping money into these so-called "faith-based" NGOs and also "calling the tune".

Here's more on this issue:

Suburban Governments Were Just Nationalized by the Federal Government

a Socialist POS MP called Gerald Kaufman today demanded in the House of Commons that UK take 10,000 a day every day, that’s 3,600,000 in one year.

Watch this video on "Gumball Immigration." Send it to your friends.

Sadly it’s true, can you believe this crap?

The Labour Party not even Socialist as of today, they’re now a full-on Marxist Party, having just elected by a landslide their new ‘um “leader” or shall we call him Comrade Number One, Jeremy Corbyn.

Corbyn is a radical Marxist that has associations incredibly with pro-IRA terrorists, Radical Muslim group and a range of Human Rights organisations that hate pretty much everyone except Africans.

The man is a sartorial disaster area, he veers between looking like he’s slept in his clothes or just tumbled out of the nearest pub.

He has an AWFUL beard.

He rides a bicycle and hates cars, Global Warming ya know!

He wears PLASTIC shoes.

He’s been married four times.

He talks like the Communist Manifesto is a good thing.

So Labour Party now the Marxist Party, therefore Kaufman and his ilk will start to talk even more radical now.

Sierra Leone has Ebola....the African savages at Calais probably have Ebola....according to the UN it’s only fair therefore that the Ebola is shared with the UK, then the whole of Europe gets it.

So Europe gets an Islamic invasion and we get exposed to Ebola as well. A success therefore for the UN, breakout the champagne.

I think that’s absolutely guaranteed.

When Europa feels threatened, the people demand a Strongman and it’s not one country this time, it’s Continent wide. Therefore it’ll be a Strongman representing the whole of Europe.

Let’s face it, we’re heading for WWIII.

Maybe most of them are “women”, you know how popular Transgendering has become with the Far Left.

How do we know that this crowd weren’t born female and have now Transgendered like Bruce Jenner!

I’m being sarcastic here btw.

Thanks for the welcome :)

You make an excellent point that Merkel and the EU Dictatorship have failed to think about.

For Centuries, thousands and now millions of people worldwide visit Europe each year for their holiday. This means a huge amount of money for European countries and their economies.

Who in their right mind will now want to have a holiday in Europe? Neither Summers in Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Greek Islands, Cyprus or Winters in the German Alps, French Alps, Italian Alps, Austrian Alps.

Imagine their you are in any of the Alps, lovely Alpine Lodge, fairytale scenery....and a mixture of 20,000 Radical Muslims and African savages....I mean that’s not going to spoil your holiday is it?

I’m trying to learn about all the home page stuff etc. Thanks for your guidance :)

Sheer insanity, I keep thinking I’m in a dream, a nightmare of epic proportions, then I realise I’m awake and it’s all for real.

I notice John McCain is using the propaganda picture of the child that was safe in Turkey, but his psychopath father put on a small boat that sunk and the child drowned.

Leading Europe’s propaganda MSM to scream:

“THINK OF THE CHILDREN! DROWNING! (but pay no attention to the 90% young, able-bodied, military-age angry young men flooding in)”

I read about the attempted invasion of the Tunnel and it being shut down, that seemed so crazy. Now it is all of Europe only the EU has thrown up their hands and said "just walk on in".

This is the significance of the evil European Union that Lucy Hamilton is talking about. They have passed a series of laws that permit anyone from any of the member countries to migrate anywhere else in the EU ostensibly to find work. Since then, all the prosperous nations have been flooded with poor people from the most backward nations sleeping in the streets and public parks, and in short order being provided with all the lifestyle perks on welfare — housing, phone, internet, living stipends, medical care — courtesy of the taxpayer. Meantime, Middle Eastern royalty and oil elites are driving up real estate values by buying multi-million (pound, Euro, dollar) properties in all the capitals of Europe.
