If we're going to help, it should be done there, where they live under tyranny. If they don't want the help, or don't want to live there, I'm not sure half the globe away is the place. Europe seems to be stepping up, with objections. Maybe Turkey will accept them. Putin has too much sense, as do most Arab states. Turmoil is a good thing, and nothing creates it like refugees.

I have been wondering about the actual legal status of the people who are being brought into the US via Obama and those who carry out his personal edicts. Are they classified as emigrants, legal US citizens, or some other category which will immunize them from being sent back to whence they came? Obama has brought in many thousands of persons from outside the US on his own and just what are the long term consequences to them, let alone the US citizens? Illegals can be deported. What about those people who have been rounded up from around the world to restructure the very fabric of America?
