I was on my way into work, listening to the news on the radio(PBS) when the first tower was hit. Saw the second tower hit on TV when I got to the building. Then I went to work and put in my day. It was a weird time.

Had Fox news on as usual and talking to my sister on the phone. Suddenly there was chaos on the screen and I told my sister to turn on her tv. We both watched as the second plane hit. Got off the phone, called my husband at work in downtown Dallas and told him to get home. (they were worried about other cities getting hit at that point) Got in the car and went to the three different schools my kids attended and took them out. I wanted my family together.

The eerie thing was the quiet. Deadly quiet. No planes in the skies.

I can’t get over my anger and that is how I feel today. Mad as hell watching our nation go down the toilet in the aftermath. Catering and bending over backwards for our enemies so they might like us. Makes me physically ill. Our own government turning against it’s citizens. I don’t think any of us imagined THIS would be the outcome.
