And I heard that Cruz voted for this setup. Am I right?

The only senator who voted against the kabuki theater was Cotton from AR.

The answer doesn’t fit on a bumper sticker.

You have to look at 2 things:

The intent of the Corker Amendment at the time,
and
The story Cruz was getting from McConnell at the time.

So, yes, Ted voted for the Corker Amendment, based on lies and promises he was given.

Yep. He had convoluted reasons why the Corker bill “might delay” the bill a little longer. Like a week.

“And I heard that Cruz voted for this setup. Am I right?”

Every Republican senator voted for it with the exception of Cotton of Arkansas.
