He does, but this strikes me as someone who has spent 10 years in Reality TV. It has only rewarded him. Why should he change? And indeed, I have said over and over, we are in a new era. This stuff just does not offend people the way it used to.

I remember being in a restaurant with my mother, born in 1919, when a black man and white woman came in. She was just all agitated. "Look at that!" These are the kinds of cultural changes that, if you're in the previous group, they seem significant, and if you're in the group that came in with "the change," it's just business as usual. I think the large majority of people see Trump's comments as standard fare for Reality TV lives, which they all ingest constantly.

A reality TV presidency was one of the plot devices in the film "Idiocracy", which on so many levels was prescient. A game show host presidency is not what I'm looking for any more than I want another milquetoast Bush.
