Before you judge Carson, you should probably take time to learn what exactly was involved. Carson was not collecting aborted fetuses for research purposes, or using them to develop medicines or cosmetics... This was one particular study in 1992, where Carson examined two slides of tissue that were already in the hospital tissue research bank, one from a fetus that was at 9 weeks of gestation, and one at 17 weeks of gestation. He used these slides to compare healthy tissue at that stage of development to diseased tissue at that stage. He was not involved in collecting the tissue nor was the tissue collected for his study. It was part of a tissue bank that had samples of tissue collected from all stages of development, from babies that had been miscarried naturally as well as aborted.
So let's not equate Carson with PP, okay. That type of hyperbole just diminishes the seriousness of the subject of abortion.
I thought Carson denied any of that.
Thank you for the clarification.
The PP atrocity skewed my viewpoint. For me, there is no cause good enough to use murdered babies for research. Upon reading that Dr. Carson had used them, I was immediately repelled.
Being honest, if those videos had not been revealed, I probably would not have reacted in the same manner.
