Donald Trump slammed Ben Carson Thursday morning, one day after the retired neurosurgeon questioned the businessman's faith.
Trump told CNN's Chris Cuomo on "New Day" that Carson, who was the first surgeon to separate conjoined twins joined at the head, was just an "OK doctor" and said "you look at his faith and I think you're not going to find so much."
Trump also called Carson's views on abortion "horrendous." Carson is staunchly opposed to abortion now, but was an abortion-rights supporter when he was younger and performed medical research on aborted fetuses in 1992.

They’re really stupid to not just stick to the issues and not attack each other. CRUZ is playing it perfect. He’s not going to criticize anyone, let the personal assaults fly over his head and then see where that leaves his campaign. CRUZ believes in the 11th commandment.
Others would be wise to do the same.
Now Carson has to defend himself against an attack by the biggest dog in the room. He asked for it, now he’s on the defensive and we all lose.
CARSON is for MANDATORY vaccines. CARSON IS DEAD to me.
The Donald simply isn't letting that happen. Now, we all hope when it comes time to turn those guns on Cankles, he will keep it up (I personally think he will. But I was wrong when Mitt did the same thing four years ago).

Trump has stated he is pro-choice.

Maybe, when faced with the reality, Trump does not want to be President.

If true, it's certainly okay for Trump tp point out that Carson WAS pro abortion.
But then Trump's incorrect past positions certainly need to be pointed out.
And even some of his current ones.

Wait, isn’t/wasn’t Trump pro-choice? Why is Trump allowed to “change” his views, but Carson isn’t?

Trump is a great populist and salesman/showman.
After he gets the nomination, if he does, the target audience changes and there is no way to know what his second season episodes will be.
There is a huge issue about being for abortion and doing research on aborted babies. I think this is what Trump means. I’m ok with people changing in their views about abortion - really I am - as long as they mean it. Many nurses who used to help do abortions have since come out against it and thank God that more and more people are seeing the light on this subject.

After seeing the PP videos, I’d say Carson’s using aborted fetuses for research is more reprehensible than Trump’s prior or current views on abortion.
I'll make it clearer for you. Trump was pro abortion.
