Reasonable observation. I guess the point was that some in the press have taken a “how dare he” position, but could care less when any number of people make fun of his appearance. But, as you point out, I can’t think of any candidate who has done it.
True, but to the main point, the Jurassic media or establishment media reaction is not relevant. Neither is whether it's "fair" to Carly or not, or how Carly reacts. The main point is that this was a foolish unforced error by Trump. It was more the childish reaction of someone who was losing, not the reaction you expect from an adult who is way out front. It was an unforced error. It was a window into a petty soul, and not the first one to pop open.
Now Carly was wrong to take Megyn's side v Trump too, but in that case, the issue was not Trump, it was Carly and her judgment....which was her first real tone deaf moment of the entire thing.
