“FAIL. Why to give the media the benefit of the doubt.”
In something as high profile as this...the odds of the media LYING and saying Trump said things Trump did not say are near zero. This isn’t a summary, but a direct quote - and yes, it IS the sort of thing Trump would say. Nor have I heard any denials yet, and Trump wouldn’t wait very long if RS was simply lying about the quote.
But I guess I don’t worship Trump as the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ - unlike many Trumpsters. I’m not willing to vote for him in a primary just because “He’s angry”...

Why do you give the media, let alone RS, any undeserved credence? They’ve been intentionally biased and wrong before. They are a joke. I’d rather wait on the facts to get out, confirming or shooting the story down, along with Trump’s agreeing to it or denying it, and go from there, rather than relying on RS alone. Seems like an easy thing to do.
Pretty funny. This thread was almost entirely composed of FReepers believing what RS said about Trump, and then blasting him for it, or people who didn't believe what RS said about Trump (without the “worship” part you say), and then little ol’ me pointing out how those who did automatically believe what RS is saying about Trump (on the face of it, despite knowing their history) are wrong to do that. Their conveniently believing what RS said disappoints me.
So how can your takeaway on this thread be about “Trumpsters” and their worship of him? I didn't see that.

I think you might misinterpret their enthusiasm. It may not be actual “worship” because I read a few weeks ago on another FR thread that Trump is really analogous to John the Baptist, preparing the way for the one true savior, Ted Cruz.
