Did the Supreme Court ruling say that all states must approve these marriages regardless of state laws prohibiting it?
Or did it say that if you get married in one state, it is simply recognized in all others?

SCOTUS said there is a fundamental right to homosexual marriage. This right attaches to individuals who choose to couple. To the extent the state requires a marriage license issued by the state, to recognize the marriage, the SCOTUS decision mandates that states issue marriage licenses initiating homosexual unions.
