That’s what I’m thinking - unless there is some accommodation or resolution behind the scenes and not being reported, I don’t see where this changes anything for Davis ... other than she’s not behind bars at the moment.

I suspect that if Davis orders her staff not to issue marriage licenses then that moment will expire quickly and she'll be back in jail again. The judge is trying to make people think that he's a nice guy, giving her a second chance and all. But make no mistake, he'll jail her again in a heart-beat if she interferes with her staff carrying out his order.

I don’t think he’ll fine her - she’s shown that jailing her has no effect & in fact, it showcases her beliefs. I think he’ll up the ante and start levying crippling fines intended to destroy her personally. The sodomite contingent wanted fines to start with, not jail.
