Forgot to add to my post above that I would never adopt a Pitt. You can't know what it's been thru.
Raised from a pup, they're like any other dog. Some good some not so.

I don’t know if I agree with the even if “raised” from a pup. Have a peer that picked up a pup just over a year ago. She raves about how amazing the dog is... but then she lets slip how the dog got kicked out of the dog pool because it was too possessive of toys.

Then recently she let it slip that the dog is aggressive at home with their other dog over toys.

The difference is that when my basset hound is aggressive over a toy and nips at another dog, that is generally the extent of the interaction.

Unfortunately, pits are bred to latch on and not let go once that activity starts.
