Same here. It was a great weekend. I remember after the event, walking around the reflecting pools of the Lincoln Memorial with my family. It was unseasonably warm for that time of year and great weather for being outdoors. I remember meeting Matt Drudge personally and many other Freepers who are still here today. Felt like we were making a difference and I think we did, because Clinton was impeached a couple months later.

Hopefully we will make more memories like that again. Should have plenty of opportunities over the next year as things start to heat up.

Seeing the March for Justice on C-span (thanks to Drudge) I got enough information to click into Free Republic and never turned back. I was a lonely lady busy throwing shoes at the TV and praying for some way to stop the runaway train. I managed to go to D.C. for the Rally & Dinner for the thirteen House Managers. I would go again if I had a personal driver. I’m too old for a stranger to manage. But thank God FR is still here and I don’t feel alone.
