He’s also served his country in uniform, but he would do it again if somebody could find a role for a Naval Lieutenant in his late 60s (which in military terms is what he is and all he is really qualified to be) and wanted him. He can’t call for a declaration of war constitutionally, but he does what he can to support those who are fighting them whenever he can.

It’s un-Constitutional for him to state that he’s in favor of war?

I recently shook the hand of an American service man who had his right leg amputated at the knee, in his 50s. He asked and got a 4th deployment to a combat zone.

If your military can’t find a “role” for him you need a new High Command. Just saying.
