Thanks for responding. If you have been following the situation though, the refugees that have come over so far(from last year to today) have almost all been Muslims. So no, they were not displaced Christians, and no, Cruz has not made such distinctions. It is the same crisis, and the same refugees. This is his position.
That's a function of the Obama administration's policies -- they have accepted Muslim refugees, they have closed the door to Christian refugees.
