I think voting for a man who has spent only 2 years in the Senate and has no business background is a huge mistake. Someone who pretends to be an outsider, but has worked his entire career in government in one form or another.

Your entitled to your opinion. I believe that voting for someone who has no voting record to back up their policies is a huge mistake.

I don’t know what candidate you are speaking of but both Ted Cruz and Scott Walker worked for a short time in the private sector. He also worked for a Cruz as an attorney & law clerk for some judges including SC Justice Renquist. Scott Walker worked for a short time in fundraising.

Cruz is also an award winning debater. He also worked on the policy team for GWB 2000 campaign and was on his legal team that helped secure the presidency for Bush during the FL recall. He argued cases in front of the SC while he was solicitor general for the state of Texas.

Cruz also has been a student of the Constitution and debate since his high school years. He was a member of the Free Enterprise Institute which schooled young people about the free market economy. Within that group he joined with fellow students to focus on the Constitution and traveled around the state giving speeches about it. He is a champion debater.

He has a strong religious background. Religious conservative Robert George was one of Cruz’s mentors.

He worked again in private practice before running for the Senate representing the state of TX.

So you see, there is a RECORD of what Ted Cruz stands for besides his voting record in the Senate. No, his voting record isn’t perfect. I think Mike Lee has a better one but he isn’t running. We know what Cruz thinks about the Constitution. We know that he has been a long-time Christian and conservative.

The nice thing about not having a voting record is that your votes don’t come back to haunt you. You can say or promise whatever you want to make people believe.

Cruz has a point when he says “Don’t tell me you are conservative. SHOW me where you have stood for conservative values”.

Donald Trump has shown that he has little knowledge of the Constitution or the law. Oh yes, he will delegate. But to whom? You can’t vote for a guy on promises that he will delegate to others every time he is asked a question to which he doesn’t know the answer.

Donald Trump is a get it done kind of guy used to delegating to others what he wants done. He has an idea and he tells them to go do it, get it done or your fired. It doesn’t work that way in DC.

If you think that the Congress won’t work with Cruz and will give him a hard time wait until you see what they will do to Donald Trump.
