Thanks, but I don't understand that to be an opinion on the 14th Amendment. I understand him to be stating his opinion that it was designed to protect "former slaves" and not homosexual marriage or anchor babies. I think history supports his argument about homosexual marriage and anchor babies. I don't think that the drafters of the 14th Amendment dreamed that anyone would use their amendment for those purposes.
Do you think that the drafters should have known what was going to happen with their amendment? LOL. They never do.
