Yes, I know that. It was an impressive victory from behind. But it was a two man race, in a State he had won statewide office in twice. The dynamics here are different.

He does have a lot of money, maybe he can outlay some others.

It is an odd race, to be sure. all of the junior Senators had a moment of glory and have faded badly. Maybe someone resurects themselves. I don’t think it will be Rand. I think Rubio is doing better for the VP spot, along with Carly.

No, it was not a two-man race. There were 9 candidates in the race: David Dewhurst, Ted Cruz, Tom Leppert, Craig James, Glenn Addison, Lela Pittenger, Ben Gambini, Curt Cleaver and Joe Agris.

And, this senate race was the first time Ted Cruz ran for a public office.
