You took that statement differently than I did. I think he was talking about a safety net for the poor. Good heavens, I am flabbergasted at how people can hear and interpret things so different.

He wants to keep social security and medicare.
He wants the poor to be taken care of but he said it could be done by making deals with insurance companies and hospitals. I don’t know what he means by that so I will wait to hear more before deciding whether or not I agree with him.
