I meant see post number 22 for more on Cruz’s liabilities: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3333152/posts?page=22#22
I knew about that one. There’s one more too.
I’m sure there are many more if we looked into it.
Not interested in taking him down because I do want Cruz as the V.P.
I just get tired of the one way street.
Hugh Hewitt has been extremely up front about the questions he will ask candidates, both on his radio program, and when he is a moderator at the debate.
Salem also is extremely up front. There are no hidden agendas or back room strategies. There were no gotcha questions because Hewitt’s questions have been known for weeks.
That’s fine but please take the “GOPe Roadmap To Victory Challenge” before you write off Sundance’s theories (and get back to me):

You speak truth brother.
Cruz is a liability on the Presidential ticket, fine for SCOTUS.
It’s not important that candidates pass trivia tests, I agree. That’s inside the beltway perspective, imposed on candidates for decades by Washington press corp, who want to revel in their minutia as an intellectual status symbol. I’ve longed for years for some candidate to brush it off on the way past the questioner to an articulation of the correct principle. Principals make encyclopedic knowledge unnecessary.
That said, this is the opposite of what Trump is doing. The candidate who would simply say “I don’t recognize the name. What’s the point of the question?” - would be the one I’d like. But the opposite of this is to be thin-skinned and whiny, complaining that some reporter is trying to play “gotcha”, as if the leader of the free world is not going to have “gotchas” played on him all day long.
Trump is not brushing past trivia in order to articulate principle (which would Reagenesque.) He’s whining. He’s a fragile flower with a thin coat of bluster on top. And not a conservative.
I posted Sundance’s article to show the concerted effort against Trump involves Hewitt, so we could see a larger map of what the Establishment is doing.
I.e. the way they are pushing back on Trump reveals their own motives and goals.
Trump needs to figure out why the Uniparty Establishment wants the destruction of this country, and it’s not because they are “dumb”.
So, who’s your man, or woman?
HH is going to do what HH is going to do. Its not a big deal. He is going to co-moderate the CNN debate with Jake Tapper. I expect it to go much more smoothly that the debacle that was Fox.
I saw that weird piece of garbage on Morning Joe about a week ago and after spending some time giving the latest numbers on Trump and so on Joe asked Hewitt who, in his sage opinion, was going to be nominated.
Without batting one of his weird google eyes Hewitt said Jeb with probably Kasich or Walker as a running mate.
He had no time for and not a single word for any of the conservative candidates. It was one of those airy hand waves and let's get down to the grown-up topics of the day.
He's to creepy to be a full-fledged birdbrain of the establishment but it is his life's ambition.
Fifth-column SeeBS leftist skank, Scott Pelley, gave plenty of negative coverage to Trump’s answer to Hewitt’s question. Scott then switched to a story about Biden’s possible bid for the presidency, without even one mention of Biden’s cornucopia of incompetence.
Sadly, I just caught Hewitt on OAN saying that Trump’s “temperament” makes him unsuited for office.
Signing a pact with the GOPevil might just be Trump’s Chamberlain moment.
It is easy for Hewitt to stand on the sidelines and snipe. I wouldn't blame Trump if he decided to not attend the CNN Debates because of Hewitt's pettiness.
No one would watch.
hat the media does not like is being whipped by their own whip. The media as the right to whip but the those they whip have no right to defend themselves.
Good for Trump. If he did not like Hewitt’s questioning he has every right to fight back and let the chips fall where they may.
I think so too. I guess Hugh would rather have a joyful tortoise’s temperament in the oval office.
I was thinking just that.
Those who want to skin Trump alive would not dare do the same to Hillary or Obama. Hewitt does not have the stones to attack Obama day after day. He is just part of the media weasels. It is amazing to watch.
Rush: Trump Had A Fairly Decent Answer to Hugh Hewitt’s Questions, It’s Not Going To Hurt Him
The Right Scoop ^ | 9/4/2015 | Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh talked about the Hugh Hewitt interview with Donald Trump today on his radio show and basically said that Trump had a fairly decent answer to Hewitts questions about the names of the terrorist organizations in the Middle East. And because of that and the fact that both Reagan and Bush had a similar problem and were both elected twice, he really doesnt think this is going to hurt Trump at all.

I sincerely doubt that. Trump is first class.
I question why Hewitt only interviewed Fiorina. Why didn’t he take a cross section of candidates. Why didn’t he grill Carson?
Hewitt set Trump up. Fiorina was way too rehearsed.
Trump will figure it out. He is a quick study.
Get over it . He will win the presidency!
“Hugh Hewitt is George Will with white hair and a 100$ haircut, disguised with a microphone.
