You miss my point. The German nation refused to surrender. They had to be destroyed...eliminate their ability to continue to wage war..hence the destruction you correctly mention. They brought that on themselves. ( and we paid a price in blood and treasure also) But I was referring tot he fact that tens of millions adored, worshipped Hitler, and tens of millions also swore they knew NOTHING of what was happening at the concentration camps.
Or do you still believe in the Easter bunny and the tooth fairy?
