taxes are defined by the gov’t and therefore belongs to the gov’t. marriage is defined by God and therefore belongs to God.

I highly recommend you not twist my point: as Christian’s we are called to reject sin. Her signature on gay marriage forms ordains something that God calls reprehensible.
For us as a society to usher in sin as normal by either over or covert acception of it is a sin just like the sin being ordained.
