Sure I do. But I think I’m safe in presuming that she hasn’t had her prior marriages annulled by the Church. (just guessing) So therefore, even though she’s divorced legally, she’s still living in sin. And cannot be serious about repenting under the laws of the Church right?
I think that is a Catholic thing.
Mrs. Davis isn’t a Catholic. Protestant churches (to the best of my knowledge) do not require a marriage to be annulled to allow the person to be forgiven.
NOT bashing Catholics, just saying.
LOLOLOL. Annuled by the church???? The church is not our sovereign god. The One True God in Heaven is our true God. Just like the woman at the well that was married 5 times and then living with someone, Jesus Christ told her she was forgiven and then to go and sin no more.
No one, contrary to what the catholic church espouses, needs to be forgiven or annuled or anything, by the church. That is God’s and God’s alone. I highly recommend you read His Word prior to casting stones.
If she is a born again Christian then she is not catholic and doesn’t need the “Church” to annul anything.
There is only one sin one cannot be forgiven......non-belief. She sounds like a sinner who is trying to follow Christ into a different life. This is what Christianity is all about. As for as being a hypocrite...when all the hypocrites leave The Church you can turn out the lights. The one thing we know is that we will sin again because there has been only one perfect soul!!!
Ah...Catholic perspective. Everyone else is going to hell. You are dismissed.
Laws of what church?
