On Tuesday night she was arrested by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office after authorities were alerted that Foy had an outstanding warrant related to a 2011 assault charge involving a co-worker. Foy quickly bonded out and is no longer in custody. No charges were pressed in Montgomery County.
“I would like to apologize profusely to every person who was offended by my words, but especially to Darren Goforth’s family and friends — whose heartbreak I cannot begin to fathom, and to the law enforcement community.
My statement and my choice of words were without the sensitivity that this tragedy calls for. I hope for nothing but peace and comfort for those in mourning, and cannot express how deeply I regret adding to their pain.”
When the sheriffs arrested her, she wasn’t handcuffed, she was hog-tied.
I don’t believe for a minute that she actually wrote that letter of apology herself. It might have been written by her lawyer.
