Happy to say, I was in attendance as Ted Cruz transfixed a standing room only venue in Tyler, TX this afternoon. I arrived there about 45 minutes early, and the venue was already mostly full.

Ted rallied the crowd, 80% of which never sat down, with his usual stump speech, but a lot of great interaction with audience members. Afterwards, he remained there in the heat, exhibiting the patience of Job, and shook hands and signed things for at least an hour. I was able to meet him briefly and got a picture together. I'm telling you, these people will walk on coals for Cruz!

Is this the place? I think he made 3 stops in Texas today and picked up a few more endorsements.

Why would he waste time, energy and money campaigning in a city and a State that he will carry handily? Could have been some fundraising on the side, maybe. Or, maybe he was coming home for a day or two to rest and be with family.
