Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said on Thursday he would talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin about what could be done to stabilize world oil markets and prices.
Maduro made the comments as the two men, both leaders of major oil producing countries, began talks in Beijing, after attending a military parade to mark 70 years since the end of World War Two in Asia.
"We can talk about what we can do to stabilize oil market and stabilize prices, what would allow us to overcome the current conditions," Maduro told Putin at the start of the meeting.
Other big producers cut production (and cash flow) so he can make more money, while still spending more than their income and borrowing more cash from the Chinese. It will work great for the rest of his life.
Maduro, the bus driver, has ideas!!
DON’T SQUEEZE THE CHARMIN !!!
Oh that’s right....YOU’RE ALL OUT !!!!
snorkel....snorkel.....
With a little luck, may it be a short one.
There is no market solution. They don’t have enough market share to influence the prices. The only solution to raise prices would be war in the middle east or something like that. That would be a very good communist idea...
Now if we could sell our own oil (US) on the open market. That would throw a large wrench into his little scheme.
;-)
