This was right down the way from me (in fact, my wife and I got married in the back yard of a house on that street). I’m waiting to see on this one. Sounds to me more like the guy had made some folks mad.
The rhetoric around this officer’s murder makes the ‘why’ secondary to the larger dialogue taking place in this country. Even if he was a victim of something he did or if he didn’t his death has already been appropriated.
