The problem with this kind of thinking is that Trump would lose all credibility and would be perceived as a man who doesn’t keep his word. How do you think that would play out in the 24/7 media spin? Some on here need to step back and remember this is a presidential race. I’m a Trump supporter, but I sure as heck don’t think he is Superman and invincible, like some on here do. Whatever he decides to do - I will support his decision in the matter.

Trump would be perceived as “knuckling under” to the establishment if he signed their pledge. At least by some, subconsciously by many I think.
Not good for an anti-establishment candidate.

I think that may be the real idea behind this, after all.
