Wednesday on his radio show, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh discussed the backlash within certain conservative circles to the candidacy of GOP front-runner Donald Trump. Limbaugh specifically focused Wall Street Journal columnist Bret Stephens, who unleashed a scathing attack in the Journal earlier this week aimed at Trump and his supporters.

The American people have discovered there is a nest of snakes under their house, and they’re calling an exterminator immediately. They won’t be asking him for the details of his past political maneuvers, or his planned affiliations, just get rid of the snakes and NOW.
‘American values ARE conservative’. If speaking of values that come from the Founders and exemplified by ‘the Greatest Generation’ you have a valid point. However, when I look at what and how and by whom Obama was elected POTUSA I have doubts.
There are many, many other reasons to call Fiorina a fake conservative.
For one, she gave a pro Muslim speech right after 9/11.
She is also actively involved with the GOPe in VA.

Actually, I don’t enjoy Alex Jones, and I said “almost” with regard to Trump being a Trojan Horse. My point is that if Trump were a Trojan Horse, he would have the same effect.
You seriously need to do some research on your list of “conservatives”
At this point in my life, I am tired, so tired (to paraphrase Blazing Saddles) of candidates that are so easily “swamped” by others. We need to rally behind somebody with a backbone who knows how to get his word out and does it, successfully. Otherwise, we'll continue to be on the losing side, which if so, doesn't matter if you were 100% right.

I do give Trump credit for one thing - and it is no small thing: he has said FU to political correctness. But so have - in more moderate ways - Cruz and others. I am no defender of Jeb.
And if they win in 2016 they’ll say they can’t do anything becuase the SCOTUS won’t back them or already has ruled like tyrants.

The difference in passion with which Donald lately voices respective lefty and righty positions makes it look a lot like something bigger than Trump is behind Trump.
If it takes a Johnny-come-lately to school the right wing in what it ought have been doing all the time, so be it.
