I don’t know how, but apparently GOP voted to give up that power so that it only require simply majority. So all those who voted to give up that power are responsible for the Iran deal passing, which I think is every GOP senator. Their excuse on that vote was that it gives them a say in the process.

Then how did this crazy vote give them a say in the process?

After all, using the usual treaty ratification process, the GOP would have had a say.

Well, this deal stinks to high heaven, in my opinion, and the parliamentary absurdity the GOP participated in to allow for it also stinks to high heaven.

Either every GOP senator is extremely stupid or evil, which include Cruz and Rand

The Senate doesn’t have that authority. The Constitution would have to be amended.
