To the married I give this charge (not I, but the Lord): the wife should not separate from her husband (but if she does, she should remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband), and the husband should not divorce his wife.
If she is indeed a believer she wont lose her salvation based on her serial divorces but she will likely face a bit of pain as a result.

I believe she possibly made some statement to the effect that she was only a Christian, or a true one, in recent years. The statement mentioned going to church at the request of her dying mother-in-law.

Apparently the clerk has three failed marriages. Still, she is the only elected American official (of which I’ve read) that is standing up in opposition to the Supreme Court’s usurpation of the constitution. The only one.
The lady’s taken a stand. More than I can say for McConnell or Boehner. 2 heteros come into a clerk’s office and want a marriage certificate, can’t tell much beyond that.
