Not quite - why do you think the GOPe brought down Scooter Libby and he’s still serving a sentence for a scam!

Yes, he's been there but he's not quite a GOPe, he's inside that tent but they don't trust him to be on board with the "One World Order" nonsense.

He was the only tough guy inside the Bush White House and the weenies that love the State Department, hate Cheney and took out his assistant, Scooter Libby - remember, and he's still there!

Bush didn't give him a pardon on his way out of town, so I don't think Cheney's on board with that either!

That’s a good point but Cheney is still more GOPe than not. IMO And I hate to say that because I like him.

Cheney simply isn’t playing into media hands, who are only looking to stir up some headlines.

CNN spins Cheney’s “no comment” into a story to send the trumpoids into an anti-Cheney tizzy, and the trumpoids dance like the media commands.

I think it was pretty clear that he wasn't endorsing anyone.

Yea !right on!! lets hate Cheney for a while!!!!!

Note: For the purpose of this contract the “GOPe” shall consist of any and all present and former members of the Republican Party, living or dead, which forthwith will be described as Party of the First Part.
Further the “Real Conservatives” of the GOP shall consist of any and all present and former members of the Republican Party, living or dead, who having passed the “Real Conservative Test” forthwith will be described as Party of the Second Part.

It is therefore resolved that a dispute having arisen within the Body Politic wherein the party of the First Part formerly known as the Party of the Second Part and having been castigated as the Party of the First Part by the Party of the Second Part shall henceforth disavow any claim stated or unstated to resemblance of or to the Party of the Second Part.
Likewise the Party of the Second Part having lost claim to said term shall consists primarily of those who having been tested and found wanting by those in the Party of the Second Party and been castigated as the Party of the First Part shall hence be considered the Party of the First Part disavowing any claim stated or unstated to said term Party of the Second Part.

They failed to mention he said he would support whomever was on the Republican ticket!

That doesn't work with the headline.

The headline represents everything that's wrong with the media today.

And the responses here represent everything that's wrong with the many Freepers today.

Most are just highlighting Cheney says he wasn't endorsing anyone, but Mediate's Alex Griswold decided to make the headline about Trump.

How about:

Dick Cheney Refuses to Endorse (Your Candidate Here)

Just as valid a headline.

Cheney is the only guy, in the past, I trusted.

He was part of the Nixon admin. whom liberals and weenie pubbies hated!

The vaunted GOP put Eisenhower into office and tossed conservatives Nixon, who wasn't conservative much but was anti-Communist, anti-crime mostly in inner cities (brought mostly by blacks in the '60s), anti-drugs and anti-illegals, whom he knew were carrying the drugs from Mexico, so he wanted them OUT of the U.S.

Libs especially but also the "establishment party" inside DC, loathed Nixon, he wasn't one of "them," wasn't Ivy League, was from a poor Quaker family in a poor CA neighborhood, hated Communism and couldn't be blackmailed - he was one tough guy and fought like a junkyard dog! He brought a bunch of guys like him to run his White House, when he was finally elected. Sheriff Joe became part of that group, that's why he's hated so much.

Cheney became part of Nixon's eventual admin and like Nixon, wasn't one of the "establishment party," he wasn't from the right part of the country, wasn't Ivy League, went to a "nothing school" and married his "nothing high school" sweetheart not a beautiful girl from the "right background who went to the right school, then his biggest blot of all, he was selected by Nixon to come on board with him and became part of that group of guys who never were part of the DC limp wristed gang and Cheney was only permitted on the outer fringes of their cocktail parties.

He will never truly be one of them - and doesn't want to be!

I don't agree him on everything as he's much more liberal on social issues than I am but don't think for one minute that the Bush's and other "establishment" class consider him one of "their guys."

Did you ever see the picture of Cheney giving POS Obama the dirty look? If you saw it, why do you think Cheney was giving him that look?

With 250,000 candidates still running for the Republican nomination, I don’t know if I’d be endorsing anyone either at this point.

He’s a Bushie, why would he support Trump?
From that POV, you would not expect him to - in the primary. But Cheney leaves open the possibility that he will not endorse anyone at all for the primary - and just come out in support of the GOP nominee in the general election.

He can imply that but he’ll never support Trump.
