Authorities have confirmed that a DeKalb County Police officer was shot Monday night.
Investigators tell FOX 5 News that the officer responded to a burglary in progress. Police said the call escalated into gunfire being exchanged. The full details surround the shooting are still emerging.

Awful story all the way around. Homeowner shot, his dog was shot and killed and I’m sure the burglar got away to.
Yes. They went into the wrong house, killed the dog and shot the owner in the leg. An officer is also shot in the leg. This isn’t a BLM scenario. This is sadly a stupid cop scenario.
