One group that he isn’t indebted to is big (corporate) donors...and the others are. Do we know every single thing about this man? No, of course not. But the exact same thing applies to each and every person running for president, ever. Yes, I would be much more comfortable if we knew more about Trump at this point. But right now, he is the single candidate who has come out 100% against illegal immigration and for the idea of deporting as many illegals as is practical. Unless and until we do what he has promised to do, the very survival of our nation is at risk.

However, that concept is readily adaptable to politics. If you sit around and wait for the perfect candidate, you will never get him. Reagan understood well that politics is not an all-or-nothing game. He advised that if you get 70% of what you originally wanted, you should take it and run away. It is difficult to disregard the advice of these two brilliant man.
