Ok, you brought up a good point...

How do YOU know Trump is NOT beholden to anyone or anything???

He’s a bidnessman...Do you think he has never cut a bidness deal with no strings attached, during his rise to his station now???

His, and the worlds smartest woman CEO Carly, is in the same boat as far as I’m concerned...

Just because someone doesn’t have a political office background doesn’t mean they are clean of the DC bug...

You are right, we are way from vetting these people out...I am also sure we need to be paying more attention than to the video and sound bytes they spoon feed us from all current media sources...

Not sure enough voters at this time are looking much harder than these sources now...

It’ll come together soon enough...

One group that he isn’t indebted to is big (corporate) donors...and the others are. Do we know every single thing about this man? No, of course not. But the exact same thing applies to each and every person running for president, ever. Yes, I would be much more comfortable if we knew more about Trump at this point. But right now, he is the single candidate who has come out 100% against illegal immigration and for the idea of deporting as many illegals as is practical. Unless and until we do what he has promised to do, the very survival of our nation is at risk.

I very firmly believe that General Patton was correct when he stated that the perfect is the enemy of the good. He, of course, was speaking in the context of battle plans. However, that concept is readily adaptable to politics. If you sit around and wait for the perfect candidate, you will never get him. Reagan understood well that politics is not an all-or-nothing game. He advised that if you get 70% of what you originally wanted, you should take it and run away. It is difficult to disregard the advice of these two brilliant man.
