A Response to Free Republic Trump Critics
Vanity

Posted on 08/31/2015 12:43:37 AM PDT by Behind the Blue Wall

Why Trump?

1. Illegal immigration is the only issue; if it's not stopped soon, America will become like California -- a demographic one-party state.

2. Politics is about name-recognition and none of the other candidates besides Trump has the name recognition to challenge Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton.

Therefore, Trump is the only candidate with a chance to win who has promised to do the only thing that matters.

Calling me names will get you nowhere.
It only shows your juvenile mind.

Come on, give us another Voltaire quote.
........................................................

I wouldn’t want to overload your poor little brain. Obviously Voltaire is far too advanced for you, and Blaise Pascal would be just as bad. Ovid perhaps?

....”Unless we build the wall and protect our sovereignty, there won’t be an America. It will just be a corridor between Mexico and Canada, neither of which are really friends. That, of course is the objective of the new world order.”.....

That IS what any wall will do...simply be a corridor for the flow of the workforce commodity , which is it’s purpose...Trump knows that.... He’s just selling it as a sovereign issue so the public will buy into it.

Betty, wouldn’t you agree that Progressivism and Liberalism. Each has become so inter-twined that, for all practical purposes, there is no difference. and that liberalism is so lousy that it has blended with socialism, communism, and fascism?

there is nobody else with the backbone and guts to take on the establishment. You can’t name a conservative who could build the wall. We can’t even stop funding for PP!...

...Lose your culture, lose your country!

Yes. Its pretty much Trump and Cruz. I've mentioned at various times my misgivings about both of them, no one is perfect. What they have in common is the will to fight.

Trump isn’t “Selling” it as a sovereignty issue, IT IS a sovereignty issue! Take a look at what is happening in Europe thanks to open borders!

The wall will stop the ILLEGAL entry into the USA from anywhere and everywhere and CONTROL those who come in and go out of our country. Unless we can CONTROL entry and exit from America, we are no longer a country, we are simply a big space to be invaded.

I do not understand how people can be so blind as to think being flooded with illegals is of no concern to our country and just a talking point in an election.Obviously there is no Nationalism left, thanks to the left wingers and their constant indoctrination.

When I leave America I show my passport, and when I enter Europe, I show my passport. Why shouldn’t people who try to enter my country have to show their passport instead of just sneaking across an unguarded border because the whacko in the White House has decided to destroy America?

There won’t be a country to have a Supreme Court in if we don’t STOP the ILLEGALS! The MAJOR ISSUE in this election is the invasion of the US by ILLEGALS! Period, exclamation point.

You evaded the question to name one, because you CAN’T name anyone else who will build the wall. Avoiding the issue which is number one with the voters in America is the problem with the Republican Establishment. Are you sure you’re not one of THEM?

Do you believe my itemized list of Donald Trump's liberal past is of concern?

Yes, I do. Personally, the concerns I have trump the concerns you have (no pun intended). We can disagree there.

You don’t have to put up with the craziness on this thread. There are other threads discussing Trump with far more intelligence and sanity. I was reading one that mentioned JR would vote for Trump if he were the nominee. So according to the Cult of Trump Haters, JR would vote for a liberal Dem. If that doesn’t rate a ten on the crazy meter, nothing does.

Here is the link to the thread I mentioned:

All that we need is another louse in the White House who governs using Executive Orders.

Yes, we have no guarantees about Trump re illegal immigration. We do have guarantees from Jeb. I’ll take that.

Last time I checked, the field was more than just Trump and Bush.

This discussion or thread, has been about TRUMP.

Yes, and when you discuss a candidate you discuss both the good and the bad.

Suddenly, out of straws, you chose to throw in Anne Coulter and her remark about abortion/immigration.

No, I asked if YOU agreed with this position, a question you REFUSE to answer. Going back through your posting history I have yet to address abortion anywhere, my experience is that people who don't identify as pro-life typically aren't.

I did notice this interesting statement by you:

I would rather have a nationalist than a conservative at this stage of the game.

Let me ask you this, has Donald Trump disavowed Ann Coulter's statement?

What about the FACT that Donald Trump has called traditional marriage a "dead issue"?

NOW you take off on a rant about Abortion and all the years you have written about it here on FreeRepublic.

Yes, because, unlike you, I realize that there is ALWAYS more than one issue in an election and I'm done with politicians who want to permanently relegate human life to the back burner.

Then you throw in Jim’s name.

No, I simply stated that if Jim wanted me to stop pushing the pro-life, pro-morality agenda that I would be happy to oblige.

Do you really think you are capable of intimidating me? It isn’t going to happen, believe me.

Whatever would make you think that I'm trying to intimidate you?

I will say that your attitude and demeanor are awful. I don't have a problem with Trump supporters, I have quite a few FRiends on here who want Trump. My issue with you and your ilk (nearly all newbies I might add) is your personal attacks on anyone who doesn't agree with you. For instance, there is this falsehood you posted about me without even having the courtesy to include me in the ping:

Or like Wagglebee, be sure to take your meds.

You are all over the place and can’t stick to a subject without diversion.

Once more, not agreeing that illegal immigration is America's only pressing issue is not being all over the place.

I find you uninteresting and boring.

That's nice.

If you want to talk about abortion, open a thread and fire away to your heart’s content. We were not talking about abortion here, we were talking about Trump.

You sound like the Rudy Rooters from eight years ago that refused to address any issue other than 9/11.

By the way, I’ve only been here a short time, but I have found quite a few friends.

Trust me on this, what you have found is people with whom you have mutual agreement on Trump. Calling longtime and well-respected FReepers boring, juvenile, obtuse and the like won't get you far as a newbie. FReeper xzins and I are not in agreement on Trump, perhaps you should ask him if you think I have "totally immature reasoning capability". FReepers editor-surveyor, GeronL, and I disagree vehemently on the Catholic Church, perhaps you should ask them if I am "unable to separate innuendo and shock-effect comments from actual belief".

Anyone looking back through my posts will see that I have NEVER said I won't vote for Trump. However, I'm not convinced he's a conservative and I really don't think he's the best candidate.

Yeah? Who was the last person who entered the fall of the year before an election year as a relative unknown and secured the Republican nomination?

My first choice is a fairly clean conservative, Ted Cruz, who I give only 3 demerits.

My second choice is a GOP deconstructionist, because the GOP does not pursue conservatism. Those 2 candidates are Trump and Cruz.

I don’t think Carson has fire in his belly.
