For all the talk about a southern border wall (ahem, Mr. Trump), Scott Walker has an additional concern: Canada.
Given his support for building a U.S.-Mexico border wall to protect against terrorist threats, the Wisconsin governor was asked on NBCs Meet the Press by host Chuck Todd if he wanted to build a northern border wall.
Walker, a Republican candidate for president, said a U.S.-Canadian border is a legitimate issue for us to look at.
Some people have asked us about that in New Hampshire, Walker said. They raised some very legitimate concerns, including some law enforcement folks that brought that up to me at one of our town hall meetings about a week and a half ago.
As The Daily Beast pointed out last year, many GOP lawmakers had cited the threat of Islamic terrorists coming into the country through Mexico as reason to build a southern fencedespite little evidence of such a threat.
Walker has repeatedly echoed those southernly concerns, supporting construction of a wall like Israels 500-mile fence which, at 430 miles long, is a bit of a misnomer.

Walker should think things through before speaking, otherwise he'll descend to Jeb's level.
This liberal idiocy is akin to searching gray haired grandmas in wheelchairs and two year olds at the airport instead of middle eastern people. Everyone knows where the problem is so lets look the other way and do some really stupid things in the process...
Yes, I just did some research and saw that Homeland Security Secretary erroneously stated that some were from Canada, and later McCain erroneously said the same thing.
However, they were not all here legally, as some overstayed their visas.
“....That Canada has massively allowed Islamic “immigrants” should be alarming to US border security. Walker is correct to look at this issuewhich is all that he said.”
It is scarry that our good friend Canada is so naive.
It’s sad that all Walker said was he wants to take a look at it, and people who support other candidates pounce all over him. If Walker said he would NEVER take a look at Canada’s borders, they’d attack him for that as well.
