For all the talk about a southern border wall (ahem, Mr. Trump), Scott Walker has an additional concern: Canada.
Given his support for building a U.S.-Mexico border wall to protect against terrorist threats, the Wisconsin governor was asked on NBCs Meet the Press by host Chuck Todd if he wanted to build a northern border wall.
Walker, a Republican candidate for president, said a U.S.-Canadian border is a legitimate issue for us to look at.
Some people have asked us about that in New Hampshire, Walker said. They raised some very legitimate concerns, including some law enforcement folks that brought that up to me at one of our town hall meetings about a week and a half ago.
As The Daily Beast pointed out last year, many GOP lawmakers had cited the threat of Islamic terrorists coming into the country through Mexico as reason to build a southern fencedespite little evidence of such a threat.
Walker has repeatedly echoed those southernly concerns, supporting construction of a wall like Israels 500-mile fence which, at 430 miles long, is a bit of a misnomer.

Plan 9 from outer space. Goodbye Mr. Walker.
Americans may want to think about too many walls and/or fences going up around the nation..
They might need to find a way out some day and run into a wall/fence.
Walls/fences are designed to do two things:
Keep things out and/or Keep things in..
If that is the case, then he is really, really, extra, extra dumb.
Man has great eyes though. So symmetrical!
Are you quoting Ron here?
“While it isnt as secure as it should be...”
A couple of times I have been a ‘wetback’ in Canada. I have sailed across Lake Erie to Rondeau Bay, Ontario. Did it once on the 4th of July. Never passed immigration or customs on the Canadian side. Never passed ‘Go’. We had fireworks and set them off on the dock there. (Come and get us, we are here!) No one came. And when we sailed back to Ohio, no INS incompetents were there to great us.
You don’t see many Canadians sneaking into America and raiding our treasury. What’s your point Scotty?
I’ve been an illegal in Canada too but I wasn’t hanging out in the parking lot of Timmies looking for work and I speak the language fluently. I kinda blended in.
Well, you could put in turnstiles, that would keep the bad guys from coming in, but let anyone make an exit.
You mean English, eh?
I don't like to judge by the cover but damn, he's so dumb.
I went to Texas once and still had some Canadian change in my pocket. I didn’t even think anything of it when I tried to use it but the guy behind the counter asked me what the hell I was trying to pull. LOL
Not intentionally quoting anyone.but I like having one part of the country unwalled for now.and so far no fences between states.. :)
To be fair, I lived closer to the southern fence/wall than I did near the northern border and know a stronger one is needed on the southern border..
But let’s keep that northern border like it is. I like an exit strategy that doesn’t involve tunneling under or climbing over walls if ever an ‘get the heck out of America’ is warranted..
Walker is a fking moron. Canada is like our little brother both of British heritage. Mexico is not, this dude is a RINO fraud
Exit strategy? Lol, should it ever come to that it would probably be in Canada’s best interest to wall us off. Cause when the crap hits the fan then we’ll become Canadas version of invading Mexicans.
Meanwhile, some of these guys are going into the fence making business.
Ping as to the Canadian invasion!
I’m sorry but as much as I like what he has done for his state he is fumbling things right and left in this campaign. He’s not ready for campaigning at the national level.
